What are you able to offer clients that makes you stand out from the rest?
I promise a more detailed and service-oriented approach along with frequent communication. I will take my time, ask questions, and most importantly, listen. If you would like your portfolio to have the special attention deserves, then let's get together and discuss your unique situation, options, and goals.
What is the most inspiring part of your job?
Helping my clients financially plan, prepare for, and enjoy their retirement.
What is one tip you would give someone who is looking to get started investing in the market?
Start now and begin with a quality, well-diversified mutual fund. Consider utilizing a financial advisor. They will know the best funds to invest in and will help you plan long-term.
What is your personal philosophy on investing?
Focus on what you can control. This includes your stock/bond mix, diversification, discipline, and rebalancing. Tune out what you can't control. This includes short-term market movements, the media, which companies/sectors will perform best, etc.
What is one piece of advice you would give someone who had a late start in retirement planning?
Knowing how to plan for retirement when you are late in the game can be overwhelming. I would recommend finding a good financial advisor. They can help you figure out how much money you will need, how much to save regularly, and how to invest.
