How We Work with Organizations
The Sunmark Foundation reviews requests quarterly and partners with organizations making measurable community impact. We prioritize financial education, family support, and community development initiatives that align with our People Helping People mission.
- Volunteer Support: The Foundation is comprised of 10 members who use their own time and talents to help partner organizations when needed. In addition, Sunmark Credit Union allows all staff members to volunteer with local non-profit organizations during work hours.
- Financial Contributions: Non-profits who are located within the charter area of the Credit Union can apply for financial assistance. The Foundation’s Board of Directors reviews applications quarterly and have allocated funds to an average of 50 organizations annually.
- In-Kind Services: The Foundation offers a dynamic range of support services to local non-profit agencies that stretch beyond financial support. Through integrative partnerships, the Foundation offers customized solutions to fulfill the unique needs of each organization.

- 501(c)(3) nonprofit status
- Located and serve within our 14-county service area
- 90-day advance submission

Complete this application to request program funding or volunteer support from the Sunmark Charitable Community Foundation. All requests are reviewed by our board and must be submitted at least 90 days before your event or deadline.
