Team Members

Cassie joined Sunmark in 2013 and is currently VP Risk & Compliance. She brings a wealth of experience in regulatory compliance and risk governance and is responsible for developing and maintaining the credit union’s enterprise risk management framework; overseeing all areas of Sunmark’s operational risk management function; and managing the credit union’s third-party diligence program, bonding/insurance, business continuity plan, and other risk governance areas.

Cassie holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from SUNY Binghamton, an Advanced Certificate of Study in Business Administration from the Shanghai Institute of Foreign Trade, a Master of Business Administration from Sage Graduate School of Management, and a Certificate in Nonprofit Management and Leadership from the University at Albany - State University of New York. She currently serves as an Associate Council Member of the New York Capital Chapter of Credit Unions and sits on the 518ElevatED Board of Directors.
