Better Access to Banking
Whether you’re visiting one of our local Sunmark financial centers, or if you’re taking advantage of one of our 5,000-plus Shared Branching locations, there’s always someone right down the road to help you conduct your banking business.
CO-OP Shared Branch network is the second largest branch network in the country. When traveling, Sunmark members have more direct access to their account than most traditional bank customers. Simply enter a participating credit union branch, and you can conduct business as if you were in your home Sunmark location.
Now Available: New In-Person Identity Protection
If you bank at one of our Shared Branch locations with an out-of-state ID, a teller can now identify and authenticate you in-person through a QR code and one-time passcode. This additional layer of security will be used for loan payments, cashier’s checks, deposits, withdrawals, transfers and account inquiries.
How it Works:
- Scan the QR code located in the financial center or visit verify.coop.org
- Select Sunmark Credit Union from the drop-down list
- Enter your member number and the last four digits of your social security number
- Upload a photo of your ID
- Take a selfie. (Tip: Save your validation for an even quicker experience next time!)
- Show your one-time passcode to the teller (passcode is valid for 20 minutes)
