When can I log into Online Banking and what information do I use?

You can begin using Sunmark’s Online Banking on March 1, 2021. Your old Hudson River Financial log in credentials will no longer work.

Beginning March 1, login to Online Banking at www.sunmark.org by using your new six (6) digit Sunmark account number as your username and the last four digits of your Social Security Number as your password. You will be prompted to change them.

What account should I use for tax returns and what if the deposit comes in after the conversion?

For a deposit to your checking account use the 14 digit MICR found at the bottom of your checks (it begins with 1248). To deposit to your savings account use your 6 digit Sunmark account number.

What address should bill payments get sent to?

Sunmark Credit Union, PO Box 16370 Albany, NY 12212-9906

I have a loan, what is my new loan number to put in the memo section of the check coming via Bill Pay?

You should use the loan suffix number that accompanies your account number.

Should I change the payee from Hudson River Financial to Sunmark?

Yes, the bill payee needs to be changed to Sunmark Credit Union, PO Box 16370, Albany, NY 12212-9906.

My loan payment is due on the weekend of the conversion, how can I make my payment if Hudson River Financial is closed?

  • If you can’t make your payment before conversion weekend, please make it on March 1. All loans have a ten day grace period.

If I give me payroll department my savings number instead of checking account number will my payments still get posted to my new account?

Yes, it will go to your savings account.

I have a recurring payment linked to my Hudson River Financial debit card, will payments still be made over the weekend of the conversion?

You can continue to make student loans payments of your existing Student Choice loan here.
