Sunmark Celebrates Contest Winners With 2024 Calendar Reveal

For the 11th consecutive year Sunmark Credit Union held their annual Calendar Contest, encouraging photographers of all skill levels to submit photos of landscapes around New York State for a chance to have their submission printed in the upcoming year’s calendar.
The Sunmark team was tasked with selecting 13 photos from the more than 150 submissions that highlighted popular landmarks from across the state. Among the most popular areas/landmarks featured in submissions were the Capitol Building in Albany, the Fire Island Lighthouse, and the Boreas Ponds in North Hudson. This year’s cover winning photo was submitted by Chris Rusiecki and features sunflowers at Barton Farms in Poughquag.
In addition to having his photo grace the cover of the 2024 calendar, Chris took home a prize package that consisted of a $250 Visa gift-card, Sunmark swag, and advanced copies of the calendar. An informal event was held at Sunmark headquarters in Latham to celebrate each of the 13 winners who had their submissions chosen to be in the final calendar.
