Sunmark Raises More Than $80,000 for Charitable Community Foundation

Sunmark Credit Union held their 23rd annual charity golf tournament at Normanside Country Club in Delmar on Monday, July 31st, raising more than $80,000 to benefit the Sunmark Charitable Community Foundation.
The Foundation is devoted to the credit union philosophy of “people helping people” and serves to help various local communities, support financial education, and improve the quality of life for those in need. The event was supported by over 120 golfers and 67 corporate sponsors.
“The Sunmark Charity Golf Classic helps the Foundation continue to make a positive impact in the communities we serve,” said Amber Cooleen, chief marketing officer for Sunmark Credit Union and president of the Sunmark Charitable Community Foundation. “Thanks to the continued support of our sponsors and participants, we’re able to continue putting this event on each year, which bolsters our efforts to serve non-profit organizations.”
The event’s 2023 Premier sponsor was Cardona Law. Platinum sponsors included Lee & Mason, Marshall & Sterling, GreyCastle Security, and FiServ.
