Vik has more than 25 years of experience in the areas of finance, strategy, risk management, and technology. He joined Sunmark Credit Union as Chief Risk Officer in 2022, was appointed Interim Chief Financial Officer in 2024, and is currently serving as Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer. Prior to his time at Sunmark, Vik served as a Principal with Satori Consulting, a strategy and management consulting firm based in New York City. Before that, he served as Chief Risk Officer for Old Mutual Bermuda, an investment management company, and spent 10 years as a management consultant. Vik has also held executive roles in technology and finance for financial services and insurance companies.

He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, a master’s degree in computer science from Oklahoma University, and a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Osmania University. Vik previously served as a member of the Board of Education for the town of Westport, CT, and a member of the board of Bridge Academy, a charter school in Bridgeport, CT.  He donates time and resources to supporting several community organizations, including the Rensselaer County Regional Chamber of Commerce, where he speaks at leadership events.
