SUNMARK CREDIT UNION PRESIDENT & CEO JERILEE BEAUDOIN NAMED HVCC DISTINGUISHED ALUMNI 2025
Sunmark Credit Union is proud to announce that President and CEO Jerilee Beaudoin has been selected as a 2025 Distinguished Alumni Award recipient by Hudson Valley Community College's Foundation and Alumni Association. The Distinguished Alumni Award celebrates graduates who have made notable contributions within their career fields and communities, exemplifying qualities of professional and community leadership.
Beaudoin, who graduated from HVCC in 1992 with an associate degree in accounting, was honored at the college's Homecoming Distinguished Alumni Awards Breakfast on Saturday, September 20 at the Bulmer Telecommunications Center in Troy, New York. She later participated in a panel discussion to talk about her career and lessons learned.
“This recognition highlights the important role that quality education plays in developing tomorrow's leaders," said Jerilee. “It was the care, community, compassion and all of what Hudson Valley Community College had to offer that really laid the foundation for me to transition into the next steps seamless.”
Jerilee's journey to Sunmark's top leadership role began with her accounting education at HVCC, where she developed the analytical skills and work ethic that would define her career. After earning her associate degree in 1992, she continued her education at Siena College and later earned her MBA from the University at Albany in 2004. Jerilee has maintained close ties with the college, previously serving on the HVCC Foundation Board of Directors in 2016.
Jerilee Beaudoin began her career in banking as a part-time teller at 16 years old, setting the foundation for more than 35 years in the financial services industry. She joined Sunmark Credit Union in 2020 as Chief Lending Officer and became President & CEO in January 2025, guiding a growing institution serving nearly 90,000 members and managing more than $1 billion in assets.
