Sunmark Credit Union celebrated the grand-opening of its newest financial center location in the hamlet of Glenmont, designed to better serve the residents of Albany County. The 2,000 square foot location, which opened at 7 Moriah Road earlier this year, marks Sunmark’s 16th financial center across the credit union’s 14-county field of membership.

State and town officials were on-hand Wednesday to help celebrate with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Among those in attendance were state Assemblyman Scott Bendett, Bethlehem Town Board Member David DeCancio, and President of Bethlehem’s Chamber of Commerce, Terri Egan. The Glenmont financial center is a full-service location equipped with Interactive Teller machines (myTMs) both inside and outside. After daily operating hours, the two drive up myTMs are available 24 hours a day, allowing members to conduct transactions on their schedule.

In celebration of the location’s grand-opening, Sunmark is offering specials to both new and current members who visit the Glenmont financial center.

“Because you’re not-for-profit you really can focus on your members and the services you provide them, and that is something here in Bethlehem and I think all over that we really value,” said Terri Egan, Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce President.

Lobby hours for the Glenmont location are Monday and Tuesday 9am-4:30pm, Wednesday 10:00am-4:30pm, Thursday and Friday 9am-6pm, and Saturday 9am-1pm
