1. Be Careful with Emails, Texts, and Phone Calls.

Always be aware of who is calling, emailing, or texting you. Do not click on any unknown links or attachments in emails or messages. Be careful to not share any sensitive information over the phone with an unknown caller. Sunmark will not initiate a phone call, email or text asking for your personal information.

2. Keep Track of Your Account Activity

On a regular basis, check your account activity to ensure that there are no suspicious or unauthorized transactions. If you notice a suspicious transaction call us at 866.SUNMARK.

3. Card Controls

Set up account alerts within our Sunmark Mobile App such as debit transaction alerts, travel status and more.

4. Strong and Unique Passwords

Use a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters as well as numbers and special characters when creating a password. Do NOT reuse passwords. This will ensure that scammers cannot easily guess your credentials and access your account.

5. Secure Sensitive Documents

Keep your sensitive documents in a secure location. Securely shred any documents that are no longer needed that contain your personal financial information. Keep an eye our for Sunmark's FREE Shred Days in the Spring and Fall!
