Sunmark Credit Union Relocates in Colonie with Unveiling of State-of-the-art Financial Center on Vly Road

Sunmark Credit Union is proud to announce the relocation of its Colonie-based financial center, formerly located at 1847 Central Avenue. After serving members at the former location since 2005, the credit union is moving to a new, state-of-the-art financial building at 151 Vly Road on Monday, May 12. With less than one mile separating the former and new locations, Sunmark CEO Jerilee Beaudoin says, “the credit union’s primary focus was for the financial center to remain available and accessible to members in Colonie and the surrounding communities.”

 

“It was important for Sunmark to maintain our commitment to the Colonie community which opened its arms to us in 2005. While identifying potential locations for a new financial center, our focus was on limiting the impact a move would have on our members while offering the same, state-of-the-art technology found in our other locations. We are excited for the opportunity to continue to serve current and future members in Colonie, and we believe the new location provides Sunmark with opportunities to strengthen and expand the banking experience we proudly provide the community” Jerilee added.

 

Sunmark’s 1847 Central Ave location will permanently close on Friday, May 9 at 1:00 p.m. with the outdoor myTM® remaining available for use through Sunday, May 11. The new Colonie location will feature all the amenities Sunmark members have come to expect and enjoy including myTM® interactive teller machines, offering all the standard ATM functions along with the ability to handle deposits, transfers, loan payments, and more. The new Colonie financial center hours will be as follows:

Monday: 9:00am – 4:30pm
Tuesday: 9:00am – 4:30pm
Wednesday: 10:00am – 4:30pm
Thursday: 9:00am – 6:00pm
Friday: 9:00am – 6:00pm
Saturday: 9:00am – 1:00pm
Sunday: CLOSED
